Convert Videos Using WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe

In my previous post, I have shared the easiest method to join multiple videos and modify them into single files. It is completely easy and free to use that does not require any other 3rd party tools. The tool however, limits to just joining and splitting videos. Today I am sharing a good tool to let you also convert the videos to popular video output files: WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe. It is developed solely by Digiarty Software.

TechnoChat has been in contact with software companies again lately. This time, Digiarty Software has requested me to provide a personal review towards their new products. I am more than happy to try new softwares and share my opinions towards the softwares on this site. Although I have not heard of this video converter, I should say that I am impressed with the performances.

So I have also had a chance to personally download and put it on multiple tests for different input and output files. I am more than satisfied with the result! Firstly it has a good friendly interface, with all the steps or procedures clearly written on the main windows. I think this is important for those who are still new on video-converting that it is often ignored and taken for granted.

WinX HD Video Converter also allows a wide range of output conversion options (as can also be seen on the screenshot below) with many advance settings available such as quality,  audio sample & video frame rate, codecs, resolution, even until the number of CPU Core used. The feature which is also unique for this video converter is that it also allows you to extract out and save any single frame images from any sections of the clip or movie. And of course the audio tracks too.

Other extra feature I find it useful is also the ability for users to control the clip duration from any section of the movie file by either dragging or clicking. It is also able to download videos from popular streaming sites such as: YouTube, vimeo, Break, google, buzzhumor, Dailymotion, funnyhub, golem, liveleak, myubo and sevenload.

Of course I still can see room for improvements for WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe. This may be minor ones and will not affect the performance or rating by much but WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe still lags and loads relatively slow during the startup (both warm and cold starts) and also during the transition between the conversion options (adjusting the advance settings numbers). It also cannot maximize the window that some users may find it uncomfortable for a large silver-ish window flying on the screen.

But again, as I said earlier, this will not be a devastating problem, really. Not more than just my humble input for the software.
